A warm, welcoming space for wellbeing and connection

A space to pause, connect, and simply be

The Gathering Place is a relaxed and welcoming wellbeing space, open to anyone who would value a little time to slow down and be around others.

We meet every Wednesday during term time, 1:00pm – 3:00pm, at the Vine Centre in Cherry Willingham.

A place to be

Sometimes life is busy or overwhelming.
The Gathering Place offers a calm environment where you can simply sit, rest, and take a breath.

There’s no pressure to do anything — you’re welcome just as you are.

A place to talk — or not

If you’d like to talk, there will always be someone ready to listen.
If you’d prefer quiet, that’s absolutely fine too.

You’re free to engage as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

A place to do

Each week there are gentle activities available, including:

  • arts and crafts
  • simple creative activities
  • relaxation and wellbeing exercises
  • games or shared hobbies

You’re also very welcome to bring your own book or hobby and spend time doing something you enjoy.

What’s provided

  • Free refreshments and snacks
  • A warm, friendly environment
  • Space to relax, reflect, and connect

Who is it for?

The Gathering Place is open to anyone aged 18 and over.

Whether you’re feeling isolated, looking for company, or simply want a change of pace, you are very welcome.

Come along

There’s no need to book — just drop in.

Whether you stay for a short while or the whole session, you’ll find a warm welcome.
