Pray 2020

Seeking God's Kingdom growth for this area and beyond

We believe that prayer makes a difference, it is effective and is essential to knowing God.

Pray 2020 - Prayer nights will take place on the last Wednesday of the month at the Vine Centre

A time of worship and prayer startng at 7:30pm for Coffee and concluding at 8:30pm

All are welcome.

As our good and loving Father, God wants a relationship with us. He wants us to come to him whether it’s been a good day or a bad day, to talk with him about things on our hearts.

It is an opportunity to confess our sins, seek forgiveness, and be healed.

He wants us to acknowledge him as our provider and our friend, without ever forgetting he’s also our King.

He has so many good things in store for us, but the promises of peace, comfort, joy, and wisdom can’t be fulfilled outside of a daily walk with God; prayer is one way we explore our relationship with God.

We believe that prayer is not just for the believer.  We have seen prayer impact on those who do not believe. Changing situations, bringing peace and healing. The faltering words of a first time 'prayer' are as valuable to God and often more powerful than the greatest orators.

“When I pray, coincidences happen, and when I don’t, they don’t.” - William Temple

We choose to meet together in the belief that we can confidently approach God, for when we ask for things according to his will, he hears us.

We will  give Glory and thanks  to God.  We will pray for the community, organisations and businesses in the area.

There will be time to pray for individuals and for each other.

Prayer, we believe, is not a one way conversation or a monalogue.  We will pray to encounter God and hear what he has instore for 2020.

This is your opportunity to talk with God and see him tranform this village, area and nation.

“Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the One who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference.” - Max Lucado
